Batam, on its position as duty free zone, offers a lot of cheap shopping in malls and department stores along Nagoya and Batam Centre, especially for clothing, electricals, CDs, VCDs, DVDs small electronics equipment (cellphones, digital cameras), jewellery, luggage, watches, perfumes and foodstuffs. 

There are also plenty of excellent Indonesian arts and crafts at very competitive prices.

If you purchase these pirated items you may run into problems when returning through Singapore or reentering your home country.

1. Nagoya Hill
Nagoya Hill is the biggest shopping mall in Batam yet. Here, you will find Matahari Dept Stores following with hundreds of mini shops. Cinema 21 also can be found on the third level of the building. Nagoya Hill has been one of favourited shopping malls by both locals and tourists.

Visitors are keep growing from day to day, but don't worry, currently this shopping mall is not as crowded as others in Nagoya area. Inside the mall, there are Blitz theatre, Carrefour Dept Store and Matahari Department Store.

Kepri Mall Batam is a good place for a relax shopping.
Prices are affordable, perhaps that's why locals like to shop here.
It a combination of business centre and culinary centre which promised as a city of never sleep.

The design is modern yet furnished with a tropical material and accesories. It also make you feel it as a good avenue to socialize and enjoy lifestyles.
Many locals and Singaporeans visited Lucky Plaza in search for a cheap gadgets. The price known cheaper but some are not with official warranty as consequence.

Here you can find Ramayana Dept Store selling daily needs following by plenty of beauty stores, electronic shops and fashion stands.
Most of them are sold in a very good prices. You can find discounted items everywhere.

Unlike other shopping malls, DC mall is relative quiet with more dominant of electronics and fashions selling.
